Description
More of my once hidden and/or neglected fun and imaginative period of Bryce and Poser work from 2002 through 2006, now on display.
Sorry, no tyrannosaurus rex or velociraptor here.
The big guy to the left is the herbivorous Apatosaurus /əˌpætɵˈsɔrəs/, previously known as synonym Brontosaurus, is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived from about 154 to 150 million years ago, during the Jurassic Period (Kimmeridgian and early Tithonian ages). It was one of the largest land animals known to have ever existed, with an average length of 23 m (75 ft) and a mass of at least 16 metric tons (18 short tons)
The horned one at the right is the Stegosaurus (/ˌstɛɡɵˈsɔrəs/, meaning "roof lizard" or "covered lizard" in reference to its bony plates) is a genus of armored stegosaurid dinosaur. They lived during the Late Jurassic period (Kimmeridgian to early Tithonian), some 155 to 150 million years ago in what is now western North America. In 2006, a specimen of Stegosaurus was announced from Portugal, showing that they were present in Europe as well. Due to its distinctive tail spikes and plates, Stegosaurus is one of the most recognizable dinosaurs.

Excellent commentary at the end. It will be a wonderful day when people realize that we can agree that we won't always agree on everything, and that's okay. Innocence is something that is sadly lost sooner and sooner in our lives as our world has been turned upside down.

To Rob's comment, yeah some of these monsters were vegetarians! Hard to believe they could sustain themselves on veggies alone, but apotosauri presumably consumed huge amounts of forest, and had to keep moving because they'd decimate so much forest-land that they had to move to other parts to keep eating. (Could you imagine driving away from Ralph's with 20 truckloads of veggies, because your pet dinosaur wanted 'lunch'?) Very cheery colors. The yellows of the foreground are bright, and I like the pale pinks mixed with them. And a big nicely articulated neck on the apato. and a nice clean mane---if one can call it that---on the stego. Also, you put natural staining on their backs---I like that. It's a simple landscape, looks like you wanted to concentrate on a few basic elements, but there's a cleanness and directness that I've loved in these multi-media pieces. And a rich blue, in the sky. And there's your signature, in a bright saturated green-yellow. You use the best hues for your signatures in these pieces; and, as with this one, they match yet standuot from the darker hues around them. Very enjoyable; and having one neck craning upwards, while the other is clearly down, is solid visual contrast. Lots of fun and fine work, Harry.
