Description
Another variety of the beautiful species, with more red and less white than Sweet William #2, captured back in May of 2006, apparently somewhere within the vast expanse of the neighborhood.

Yes, this IS redder and less white than the previous bunch. These are almost infra-red in their intensity. Your crop puts the blooms right in our faces, big blasts of that red-pink. And the white outlines almost look drawn-on at this proximity. A very bursting capture, showing that some flowers are almost too much of what they are, blasting into our senses like fireworks. A fine eye-popping capture of a flower I don't see too much around my home, but which protrudes like a big brass section playing fanfares. Fine crop too.
