Description

Driving from Zurich to Oberammergau on the 23rd of December there was no snow. It started to snow on Christmas Day and it snowed on and off for a week. New Years Day was the first sunny day. Sig - this is spectacular! I have been to Oberammergau in 1996. It is such a picturesque town. I vividly remember the lovely wall art. My visit was in September so it looked a little different from this scene!

This superb capture reminds me of my last visit to Oberammergau, a couple of years back, just before the first of November and it was like an extended version of the Canadian Indian Summer with mild temperature and the colours of the leaves in the trees were just a wonder....´¨) ¸.-´¸.-´¨) ¸.-¨) (¸.-´ (¸.-.-´¯-....Happy New year to you , Sig, und alles gut für 2015 ! :-)

Beautiful! Such a picturesque place in the snow. I loved seeing all the snow and getting glimpses of your trip while you were there. Every time my text message bell went off and it was another picture from you, we stopped what we were doing and looked, and exclaimed, and felt like we were on vacation ourselves! :) I meant to tell you that this afternoon when we talked, but it slipped my mind. Now I can see why you liked Leavenworth so much! Glad you had a good trip, and that you got home safe and sound.
