I was thrilled to find these fuchsia trainers that exactly match my cord jeans and scarf! I am not a beige person!

Yes, the combination is striking. Esp with those bright yellow shoelaces (which, in your postwork, look like ramen noodles!) A terrific combo, bursting with purples and violet-reds, and all standing out because of the juxtaposition with that luminous green. Really well set up, Andrea. Your placement and contrast of textures, yellow against red, busy against 'open', etc, qualify this for your still life series. A marvelous shot, it popped out at me the minute it went up. I'm only doing a few comments in a few galleries tonight, but I'll be back for a longer session soon. (Lots to comment on here, including that amazing wizard. Your sculpture is wonderfully etched, full and vivid, with beautiful characterization of each element of the face, body, clothing etc. It's terrific. I'll get to it and others soon...)
