Description
After I'd dusted myself off, Aaron and I left the Hole-In-The-Wall ruin and, a short distance away, clambered up another sandstone hill, walked along a narrow path and found ourselves before the Teardrop Arch. I'll let everyone come up with their own theories as to how it got that name.

Very beautiful capture! looks like there is a fry pan in the lower right quadrant in that indent in the wall

Good eye, Mike. The 'handle' is a vein of limestone. You can see another vein to the left slightly lower on the image. On the way there I saw a lot of veins running through the sandstone.

I like the saturated color a lot & the framing & composition are perfect. Do you use Photoshop? The healing brush would clean up those dust specks in the sky very easily...

Thank you for the nice comments. Your eyesight is better than mine. I do use Photoshop but missed those spots.

Wonderfully set in scene with the perfecten frame ..... as a glance through a telescope in drop form. I can only guessed the size compared to the small houses at the foot.
