Description

Did two different types of rendering, the one on the left is done with global illumination and 1 light source. The one on the right, has global illumination with an HDRI image the source of the light. Everything else is the same. Looking for opinions or ideas on how to make them more realistic. Thanks.

I think the one on the right looks best because it looks more realistic...must be the lighting more than background color. Very nice.

On the left I would reduce the specularity on her outfit. I do like that more detail is visible in this one. On the right I agree with tcombs, it is more realistic but I think I would brighten the image some to bring more detail out of the darker areas of the image.

I like them both. They both have their good points. The left is great because the lighting is more dramatic. The right is nice because the materials look a little better. Thanks for posting these.
