Description

Just shy of 7-years old. I really thought the little jerk was going to make it to 7. Where did the years go? As you can tell by the terms of reference: little jerk, boog-boog, creepyzoid, and many more not mentionable in polite company, I am referring to Bertolli!!! Anytime a ferret gets that many nicknames and has this many images to pick from, you can be certain that he was definitely a character and a presence. He ruled and knew it. He was incorrigible and knew it. He was loved and really didn't care for that -- it usually involved being picked up and petted. Far better to just run amok or find some really stupid game to play with anyone... even the "gadamputhycats". He passed on about 8 PM Dec 12, 2014 and, as expected, he picked the worst weather possible and the worst traffic conditions then possible to make his exit. The little creep had a style all his own and knew how to make an entrance as well as an exit. The house is a lot quieter. The toilet paper is a lot safer as are the paper towels. We miss him.

I know and feel what you're going through. I still miss my rattie Blackie, despite it being nearly 2 months now since he went to rattie heaven. Do you have more little fellows? They will be a comfort, just like my cat Kitty is. She's like a bigger rattie, but both bites a scratches all the more! From all the names you called him, and all the things he got into, he proved he was a very intelligent little fellow. The "dumb" ones are the calm, do-nothing and not-get-into-trouble types. I hope you post more photos and tell us more about him (and others). This is a really nice collage! Looking forward to your next post! :-)
