Description

OK, it's a butterfly. Not sure what type, but I'm sure someone can set us straight. This guy and some pals, were hanging around our now-defunct butterfly bush. Not sure what we will replace that with, but time will tell. My goodness, was the weather really that nice at one time? Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

This reminds me of a Swallowtail butterfly, only darker, but his 'tail' is similar in color, and the shape is exactly the same. I hope your butterfly bush wants to grow and prosper again! (.btw ,thank you very much for your site-mail, it is interesting to know in which area you live in, and took the photo. Many greetings from the of South of The Netherlands. ;-))
