Excellent pic Andrea, My late sister gave me the Blue Chicken years ago, I guess she may have bought it in Glastonbury where she lived,

I may, at some point, leave lots more shorter comments, so I can leave more comments period: I feel perennially bad that I get to maybe 1/4 of your and others' images. Trouble is, I love longer comments, and if I leave them, I can't get to every image; esp for those of you who post more than 1 shot a day. Problem is, I haven't found the technique for shorter comments yet. (Though it WOULD be fun to go through 20 images and write "awful!" "I may puke!" and "ever take a lesson???" just to get out the pent up need to be a total bastard to the whole damned site, once a month. Or just say "I HATE ART!!!" There's gotta be an outlet for that...) Anyway, I SEE every upload, and study every one; I just can't leave a long comment on all of them, for which I'm sorry. That said, the is bottle is, itself, beautiful. But the pic has your compositional still-life sense. Terrific, with that deep blue glass against the whited-out light of the lamp. And how the spritzer and its tubing---whatever the term is (atomizer and tubing?)---sweep around and break into the lamp's bright light. I love how the tassels at the end of the spritzer-bulb face in our direction (musical movement), and how you have a chunk of white light at the bottom of the bottle. And the touch of red in the wooden something-or-other in the far left. A terrific still life. And there's a lot going on inside that bottle-glass too. Every bit worthy of a shot, and you did a great job. (when I was a kid, my mom would tell me "that's an atomizer"---and, being the 1950's when nuclear bombs were built, I thought, "holy s--t! I'm not touching THAT thing!" I thought, if you didn't squeeze it right, you could get radiation sickness or even die. Why would someone spend a ton of money for a fragrance which, if squeezed wrong, could lead to major skin diseases or even death, I pondered. I consequently never went near perfume bottles till I was an adult.)
