What a treat! A result of the mild winter, or is it usual for this variety? With a name like fragrantissima it must have a scent even in winter! The winter bugs will like it too!

What a beautiful image. This brings back memories. As a child our group would pull out the stamens to get at the sweet liquid. Of course, now you are going to tell me that's why I grew up to be such an odd lot.
