Description

Spent a long time messing around with the rock textures trying to remove the artifacts I had before made the gape through the rocks more obvious instead of just a glow bit of changes with the lighting to show the rock textures looking better ,hpe fully looks better now. Thanks for taking the time to have a look and comments .Visit my website at www.jantaramugs.co.uk where many of my images are available on phone and ipad cases

I like both of them. But these rock textures are better. Nice work.

Personally I thought the original was more photorealistic, altho less dramatic. The yellows in this image appear overly saturated, on my screen anyway. The rock texture is better, but so much so that the lioness is all but lost in their glow.

This looks really great, but I still like the other rock texture. Either way these are both GREAT!!!

Most definitely an improvement but I kind of miss those petroglyphs.

like everyone says: the rock textures need more detail. Sun makes it bleach, rain makes it darkened and sandstorms will desaturate. Perhaps it helps to stroll around in the gallery of Richardphotos, he has quite a lot of (real life) shots of rocky areas like this. Standing in front of them is always different from the way they show on a photo. But perhaps you've got a lot of refs yourselves already. Great scene as such, by the way.

Great improvement over the last one, well done. I agree with the others, but I guess we're never happy :)

Both images look great! This one looks as though it's hotter day because of the intense light bouncing off the cliff face.
