Description
Late in 1968 on Yankee Station. VA-56 transitioned from A-4C to A-4E. An A-4E Skyhawk from VA-56 returns from a mission over Vietnam. It has just landed an now taxiies to his assigned place on deck.
Now I get step by step all the desired aircraft for a crowded 60ies Enterprise flight deck. The A-3 and RA-5 I build myself.
The A-4E I found some years ago on one of the many free model pages. I rebuild and retextured it with UV mapping and own textures. A very fine and detailed model. I try to rebuild it to an A-4C later.
The Enterprise is from me.
The flight deck crew is the standard Poser figure with my own head gear and textures.
The in their spare time watching sailors on the island are from Tryphon.

Excellent detailed set up! Great models too. That is a really good looking array of Phantoms and Skyhawks. With all the crew and equipment this makes a scene with some nice density. Very nice work.
