Description
(am doing this on an iPad---hope this works!)
I let the "letter" series go, just forgot.
And since Andrea just posted another installment---an illuminated D---
I thought I'd better get another one up, myself!
This is Q.
But it's unfinished.
(I never drew the curly-cue at the bottom.)
One of these days, I'll post the curly-cue.
In the meantime, hope you enjoy the rest.
(Photoshop painting, with a few blends...)
I'm back to commenting and will get to all of you this time!
Have a fine week, all,
Mark

Well, ok, but a "Q" without the curly cues is just an "O", right? lol But, no matter, cuz this is gorgeous with all the purples and blues; almost looks like paisley in parts!!

I think you meant 'curlicues,' Marilyn. A massive depiction of translucent layers of various colors, shapes and sizes, roiling, turbulent and confined within this stellar concept, Mark. As for the Q in all this, well exhibited in this wonderful posting, although it does look like an O.

In the very centre there is an open doorway into the light, to which I'm drawn. I love the colours.

A lovely and fascinating world inside your unfinished Q, like a giant gemstone of many facets.

A big flashing jewel of a Q...wonderful bling, with or without its tail. Great work!!!!!

Mark, allow me to say that this so called (unfinished Q) is one of the most beautiful images I've seen in some time and literally blew me away as it appeared on my monitor. What a spectacular and glimmering work of art that is certain to catch the eye of all how view it.

It's a many-faceted jewel, and if it were a bit smaller, I'd have it made into a ring. Gorgeous! I see Andrea's door. It looks like a garden gate to me. I'll go see what's on the other side, but honestly, it's probably better in here! :)

A gorgeous image to which i'm drawn too, Mark I agree fully with all the comments above ! But to me, this 'Q' still seems a window - an approximation lens for a better view of all details of this wonderful world inside it.
