Description
These scars are the result of fibre optic cable being buried just beneath the surface and backfilled with extremely inferior tarmac.
The town is full of them.

It's the same here in London, I don't think they use skilled navvies any-more, this is where I miss the Irish navvies, they knew their onions, now it's any old eastern European that can hold a pneumatic drill.

Reminds me of an old Benny Hill line; "The municipal workers fell off their shovels and compensation set in." Thanks for the explanation. They look like wagon tracks. We could send you some of our Mexican immigrants. They are experts at this sort of work.

We see it as Ralphie does, even lower if it was Fritz. I know all about those scars, the price we pay for super fast broadband on our paths and roads. Great shots there.
