Thanks for visiting my homepage here on Rosity. Have a look in my GALLERY, and feel free to let me know your thoughts, or if you have any questions.
Some info about me: I've been working primarily with Autodesk's 3dsMax modeling and rendering software in the CG and 3D animation field for several years. I also have over 10 years experience in graphic design and video editing production. I've worked freelance on various projects that included learning Alias' Maya software (now also an Autodesk product), and have several years experience with the Combustion video FX software. My primary focus these days is on photorealistic render theory, and also pursuing a short film project.
That's about it. Thanks for viewing.

Nice, quickie and fun image! Did you rig the figure yourself in 3DS Max? If so, why use G2 then?
maxxxmodelz
Oh god, no. My rigging skills are only good enough to handle lower poly characters. I had rigged V4 in 3dsmax years ago, and it took me months to tweak it for all the situations I wanted. I'd have some trouble getting good envelopes on a mesh like G2, although the modelling of this figure is probably the best of any generic characer to date. Excellent edge flow on this model, and far more logical topology than previous V2 to V4, or the equivalent Michael models. That said, I simply posed it in Daz Studio, and imported it in Max as a static figure. I prefer to build my scenes in 3dsmax over Daz Studio. It's just far more control and ease of use for me. Not that this particular scene required any fancy translations, but still, I prefer Max for that reason. It handles the high polygon counts better, and far easier to get the position and camera angles I'm looking for.

Thank you so much, my friend! Been a long time since I've seen you here. Glad to see you still around. I'll be browsing your work later. I'm sure there's a lot I need to catch up on. Stay well, and keep in touch.
