Description
Captured 1/9/15, not far from home.
The original on top, just for the record.
Other than it being a Chevrolet, there was nothing on the body that indicated the model or year of this beauty. Neither a hearse or a limousine, despite its length. There is a tow hitch attached for a long flat trailer the owner uses in his work.
Arrivederci.

What an extra-long bed to that truck, I wonder what he hauls in it? Excellent shot and fun variations, Harry. Well done!!

No kidding there! A crew bad with what looks to be the full length box makes for a very long truck. I love that last effect you used there too!

Well as I've said before, given the highly creative quality of your variations, I should HOPE the top image was the original, otherwise some pretty strange things would be happening in your part of the world! The original is worth it, alone, for the strange long car/truck, with that protruding back wheel, and of course for your long perspective and sweep you get with these monsters. Also---again---off topic for a moment: LA-ers seem to park far from the curb! I mean, maybe it's just an occasional thing, but I've seen enough of it in your shots to make me think your police are petty cool about that---because, in Chicago, this car would be ticketed up the wazoo. Anyway, your composition pairs the top of the car with the roofs---just plain fine visual thinking---and the overall perspective is spot on. As we'd expect from your work. The second one is up my alley, intensifying the hues to make the object more present, more intense. The purple/blue here really sets off this car. And it looks like you used some kind of softening in the background for a dreamy skyline. The third is a nightmare time warp, with the big back end taking over the shot, and that tire spilling into the sidewalk---nice touch, Harry! And the sidewalk doing a wonderful loop on us, and the background turning into an abstract. Fine use of filters, it packs a punch. Finally you end with that electrical filtering again: It gives electrical current-lines all over the place; and you've grayed and flattened the sky, which is most impressive, making this almost a 'cutout' montage. (With fine reflections in the glass.) One day, you should say, "for the record, the bottom shot is the original"---just to shake people up. A creative, fun, and, as always, very thoughtfully made set. With a fine original to begin it all.
