Stunning shot, I love how this moss outlines everything around here, and you got it with the light coming through it, which really makes it magical. Kudos!

The light is gorgeous. I love the way it limns the moss and lights up the ferns and branches on the forest floor.

I understand Andrea's response, but what's the expression...one man's tea is another man's poison? Anyway, if this were a literal capture of these textures, it would be overdone; but as a vision of the 'inner' textures, it's magic. It's really magic. The mosses, along with the drooping branches and leaves, and the ascending trunks speckled in green everywhere, are all a big light-laden shag carpet of dreams, like someone turned on the 'inner' lights in the forest so at last we could see how much life really IS happening there. I'd title this "the inner life of a forest". The darker bottom is the right contrast to all the lights above. It's magical. Almost as if you did it in a 3D program. Love it.

So beautiful and peaceful - reminds me of Olympia National Park!
