Description

This is a common site in the Kalahari Desert and Namibia. The Common Social Weaver (Philetairus socius) build these communal nests in large trees. It is usually a cacophony of activity around these trees and quite interesting to watch. Photo made in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
