Description

Well....another day ends at The Plant, the staff have all gone home and I'm just shutting up shop. We've had a good day and another Japanese X-plane is off the drawing board and ready to go over to Stan in the paintshop in the morning. More info on this when it's finished. I've just had a message from Tailspin, he managed to fly from The Plant, across the Atlantic and America, to Paso Robles without a hitch. After a bit of shopping, for Gloria and DVK and giving Steelrazer a spin in ' the aircraft ', they headed back. Across America, across the Atlantic and now with it getting dark he's had to put down because he's lost.....in Wales or possibly Scotland. Due to the lack of modern equiptment on these old planes I fortunately fitted a locator beacon in the tail. I'll take Little Nellie up in the morning and lead him home.......again!!

You are a good buddy. He definitely needs a keeper at times. Glad they had a good trip - mostly. Looking forward to seeing the new aircraft off the drawing board.

Hi Neil! Hmmm... how strange he made it all that distance, and then messes up on the return flight. Are you sure the "getting lost" is legitimate "lost", or a fake "lost" so he can get away with some other business on the sly? By the way, I sneaked a peek inside the Plant as you were closing shop. That plane looks really good. Can hardly wait 'till its painted. And can't wait to see it in the air. Seeing it fly must be more fun than Duxford, or....? Keep up the good work! Your friend, T.Rex :-)

It's good to know you're still having fun with your work. Was that Paso Robles, California? Tailspin should have stopped by for a spot of tea (LOL). Oh well, maybe next time.

What T.Rex didn't say is that he left the hangar door open and I sneaked in behind him with one of my models, Tara. Whilst he was rummaging around near your new project, I was rummaging around very near to Tara - well she said she was up for it! Anyways, whilst I was getting my camera gear ready, Tara was just taking off her uniform and bang. The "Green Monster" had obviously followed his master and Tara and myself. Blood everywhere (I assume) as I was legging it out of there at the time T.Rex was taking his snack. Sorry about the blood in the front left corner of the hangar Neil. At least it didn't get onto your new project, it was too far away .... I think.

No problem! tall, green and toothsome once ate an AC-47 Gunship so in a way I'm glad Tara was there to offer a more tasty alternative. I don't understand how T-Rex got passed the ' Attack Chickens ' though.....I'm going to have to review security.
