After listening to the information from his mechocta modified workstation, the scientist reflects on its meaning and implications. He concludes he must pay attention to this gift of knowledge he has been given and use it to try and save his planet's future. Thinking about the fate of the mechocta's creators, he notes the parallels with his own planet. He ponders the foolish path he as been following in creating clones for his country's military and is horrified at the implications. 'I must do something to prevent them from taking advantage of these super clones abilities and accelerating the pace of planetary destruction.' he thinks. 'I need to develop a method to instruct these super clones so that they are a force for good, not the evil that the military wishes.' After pondering many possibilities with his new mental capabilities, the scientist realizes that he can use the mechocta to help with instructing the super clones and giving them the necessary tools to turn the tables on the military. The ultimate goal is to subtly influence the military away for its present suicidal course and redirect it toward a more benevolent future. The two super clones will be a good start in that direction but he has his work cut out in developing the necessary skills for these two clones. Over the course of the next few weeks, with the assistance of the mechocta, the super clones are instructed along the lines he believes will be most beneficial for the future of humanity. A month later, when the military arrives to retrieve the super clones, the scientist's feels confident they have been properly trained. Not wishing to give away any knowledge of the mechocta or his enhanced mental abilities, he hides his workstation and the mechocta and wears a beanie to cover his enlarged head. Before their departure, the scientist has the super clones give the brass a brief demonstration of their abilities. Wide smiles are seen on all the military in attendance as they are wowed by some of the clones' skills. As the super clones march out with their military escort, they turn and salute and give the scientist a knowing wink and smile. The scientist returns their gestures. M4, M3 and Don characters.
