Description
Another in the alternate history, "what if" category. A Kriegsmarine U-boat entering the waters of Neuschwabenland, Antarctica, the location of the legendary secret Nazi Base 211. Great stories and conjecture on something that will never be told, I'm sure. There is enough plausibility in the stories to keep them right on edge of could be. A great historical "teaser".
Another quest for the perfect rough sea. I am really pleased with this one. I can almost taste the icy salt water. It goes in my sopping wet favorites folder.
U-boat: Excellent U552 from active-rendering.de.
Flying discs: Haunnebu III by Tron, free at sketchup warehouse
Crew: Lorenzo Lorez, enemy soldier by Epici, and M3 with gear from every thrift shop in the area.

Fabulous job! The water is perfect and the potential story with the UFOs is very tantalizing.

Excellent image! Great job on the water, very realistic.

Very well done - the icicles are puzzling, though (how they would form unless the sub hasn't submerged in quite a while).

The Land That Time Forgot.......while the allies were busy flying over the ' roof ' of the world, who knows what Jerry was up to in the ' basement '.........very cool ( icy even ) the water is very 'real' and the ice and frost a great touch.....

Eee-gads! To stand on a deck like that with those waves. If on is knocked over and falls in, a minute or so and you're frozen stiff. Well made image. Great job with the cold water! Man, I love alternate history stories and images. The "what if" really tickles the imagination. As neiwil says, "...Jerry in the basement..." Keep up the good work! :-) According to Ruth Montgomery, we'll find a base of frozen dinos and a base of flying saucers once the ice sheet is gone! Could the flying saucers be from Atlantis? (Just a brain teaser for you. Enjoy!).

LOL... OK, Hitler is not dead, he lives in Base 211 with his fellows... and when a ship disappears in Bermuda Triangle the the old Nazis... Hehe... I like such conspiracy theories. Real funny stuff... :-) Excellent picture. The icy water is great.

Who knows what we'll find down there once all the Ice melts... But we'll need new houses for millions of people before we need the saucers!!! ;-) Great image though... cant get enough of those Nazi Conspiracies!
