Description
Capture 1/7/15, on my way home from the 99+ cent store.
Original on top, just for the record.
The bottom variation reminds me of slices of American cheese.
Arrivederci.

Interesting. You usually see the opposite, a colorful car with black hood. Still prefer that middle variation you have used.

I guess this is what comes of doing your auto repairs yourself...I like the different variations you've applied here, well done!

Great work on the wild variations, Harry.

The original is a solid angled shot of a car, from a slightly elevated angle. You get a lot of the car, and the light is very nice. Also, it reminds me of a jersey, with a yellow torso and blue sleeves. Subtle blue tones in the shot too, to complement the car. I really like number 2, it looks like it's doing some weird yoga posture, where he may not come out of it in one piece. The car's flexing its muscles for you. 3 is quite beautiful and restful---something about those softened hues, and that deep blue that makes this feel electric but also restful. Like one could "fall into" it. (And the background has some very fine peach and other pastel hues, too.) 4 is a swirl sweeping the car into a vortex (ready to come out the other side, into one of your mixed medium pieces!) Nice colors too. And the last does look like American Cheese, where you've celebrated the yellow swath by letting it dance around in circles. Another of your creative journeys with cars, with a fine original to start. Thoughtful work all around, Harry.
