Two views of this beautiful creature, and very detailed in all lines, hairs, curves, folds, etc. And the detail in the musculature, the way the legs fold in on themselves, the skin, the ripples in his/her coat (the "a" ending in Bella would indicate female in some languages, but I'm not sure, so I'll say either) all make this painstakingly loyal to the subject. Your light rippling down the torso is beautiful too. And a real 'carol' treatment of the three visible paws on the front-most dog: In the way the light of the pads emerges from the darker hues around them; the "climax" of those brighter pads---I say "carol treatment" because that cosmic swirl and color-morphing which is found in so much of your work, regardless of subject material. The partly standing dog has more light, and is in contrast to the dog on all fours. Amazing detail on both! And the ground is another 'carol' feature, that undulating ground which seems more energy than soil, and fitting as a base for the energies of dogs. The red-purples swirling in the ground are beautiful, as are the lighter blues you put in, as highlights. (It's like the surface of a big body of water.) And the sky is undulating too, with a big swath of whites at top, but also with greens and blues and more of that dark purple (near the bottom). It's a beautiful portrait and gift, and a real homage to the beauty and power of all dogs. The dog's gaze is all attention, too---on its owner---which is so appropriate for dogs. Beautifully done on every level...which is no surprise, from you.
