What a great picture. The Rose Garden at the park is amazing. Whenever I get a chance to be in Portland, I'm always inspired. You did an excellent job with this shot, all the richness of Portland's scenery in one shot.

Can only dream of living in such a home. I like how you kept the scene soft because it gives a feeling of cool humidity. There is great contrast between the warm red and cool greens. The eye climbs nicely through the composition.

a fairy-tale feeling, with a pileup of trees, house, house behind it, and sky. It feels a little like an old fairy tale painting. Your emphasis on the yellow-tinged light on the lower trees (and in the lawn), and the lights across the trees in general, adds to the enchanted feeling. And the shadows help bring all that out. And it's all magically lit, incl the light on the house...beautiful and enchanting. You got a perfect pov, and you treated it with real love...

An outstanding capture - lovely colors and zoom. I remember the rose garden and the Japanese garden and can't understand how I missed this home!
