The posterization works very well in this image. The strong lighting creates lots of textural detail for the filter to work with.

the last shot was peaceful, even though lively; it had a pastoral feeling, though indoors (I'll comment on it soon, I really liked it). But this closeup is awash in intense grain textures, almost fabric textures, as in thick fabric. And the emphasized shadows and highlights make it quite vibrant. It's a bouquet that seems to be wearing itself---as in wearing itself as elaborate clothing. You've distributed those textures beautifully. And strong use of darks---you achieved a Renaissance chiaroscuro. Well cropped too. Beautiful piece, Claude, a radiating vision of a bouquet.
