Description
I dispatched the G4M1 'Betty' to ShareCG this afternoon with Tailspin at the controls having given him very precise instructions.....straight there, NO detours. Well he was out over the Duckpond when he spotted a group of Briney's New Orleans class heavy cruisers on exercises. I guess he just can't help himself and mayhem ensued.....fortunately he's a worse shot than he is a pilot and never hit a thing. I can't say the same for Briney's navy, I bare them no ill will, in fact he deserved it.....he limped back to The Plant on one engine, shame faced and grovelling. So the staff will work through the night and I'LL get this to ShareCG in the morning. On a sad note.....DVK's contract is up and she's decided to move on. She's going to work for Abdul Ali so I'm sure she'll be back for visits and further adventures. It seems she was swayed in her decision by the fact Abdul pays something called a 'salary'....in gold! Whatever happened to working for the love of the job? I told her not to come in today and I'm taking her out for a farewell drink tonight....I don't want her around The Plant...I mean, suppose the rest of the staff heard about 'salaries'....it could ruin me. We're expecting her replacement tomorrow, I have his resume on my desk and will fill you in tomorrow....no confusion this time, he is definitely a HE!......

Tailspin can't walk across the road without getting into trouble. Glad he made it back in one piece. I'm curious now about the new guy. Excellent image!

Don't count on it, Neil! He probably misses the potty when peeing, watering the floor (I dare not say what else he may do! I don't want to be shut off from Rendo and all my friends here!). Of all the nerve, taking on 3 cruisers single handedly (selfish bummer). As for the new employee, how did you determine it's a HE and not something else (considering the weird state of the world today!)? Nice to see you putting out such detailed images again. Come to think of it, some of those air bursts look like bullet holes through paper. Has someone shot holes in the image (big laugh)? Am looking forward to the next post! Keep up the good work! :-)

Nice one, Neil! The Betty is pretty awesome from what I've seen. I like this render. The light suggests an early morning or dusk to me, and I like the somber tone of it....goes well with the action. You know, at this point I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Tailspin in one of these, riding the torpedo ala Slim Pickens in "Dr. Strangelove". So how's he going to get along with one less female and one more male at the plant????
