Beautiful shot! Ferocious, but beautiful nonetheless!
JestePhotography
Thank you! The circle of life can indeed be ferocious!

Man this is insane that you caught this in action! I am blown away! Love the trail of feathers in the air. Most amazing capture my friend. Bravo! Be proud of this one.
JestePhotography
Thank you, that is very kind! I did a little happy dance. I caught the whole sequence about 50 frames.

I bet this was a really tuff one @800 mm, well done !!!!
JestePhotography
It takes a lot of practice! Once you are locked on though it isn't so bad. The tricky part is initially finding it in your viewfinder before the action starts.

TOP CLASS! This is a real challenge for speed and control of your gear! I presume you had the lens in a gimble head to deal with the wieght!
JestePhotography
Thank you! I did but I have also shot this bird on different days hand held. I actually like/prefer handholding but for longer distances the gimbal is nice once you get used to panning with it. For birds that are closer, zinging right by I prefer handholding. (Almost like shooting skeet with a shotgun)
