Description

You all know me by now, I don't need an excuse to honour brave men and tell their story. I've posted on the 332nd Fighter Group ' The Tuskegee Airmen ' before and I have a special post for March featuring them.....but there is something in the wind that I still can't get my head around. I received a request for a 'special' paint job for my P-51D model ( neither of the above ), I was furnished some reference pictures and told what this is for and that's the bit I can't get my head around. Unfortunately I can't tell you before the weekend ( why should I be the only one to suffer ) but be sure to look in Saturday for the full story...The above image? well the aforementioned request had me rooting in my Tusgegee folder and that led to a render or ten.......as it does. Background image kindly supplied by steelrazer.....
