Description

Going to post a new series of older images (or new ones if I get some along the way) of tighter crops on my insect macros. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FULL SIZE VIEW. Not sure how many will be in the series, I have about 5 done to this point. Some will be tone-mapped to give a little extra pop to the image. First one is a Jumping Spider from a week ago in the backyard. Thanks for looking and any comments. -Bruce

Hi Bruce, I have just visited your gallery and be 'blown away' by the many interesting and most detailed, plus exuberant macro photos. Such a great talent speaks out all these amazing pictures, which you and your camera are expressed the most fascinating details; something that can not be seen with the naked head. Now to this incredible macro, from which I really love all the hairs (like cactus) and the subtle colors, and what amassed me the most are the four eyes. What a cool portrait so in the middle of it's face!
