Description

Last weekend was kind of miserable for me, in many regards. It started with the landlord "joking" that "you might want to get a couple of carbon monoxide detectors" and later on informing us that the housing inspector was making him replace the water-heater ("first time it will be up to code in fifty years! Isn't that funny?") and then the furnace died. After two and a half days of no heat in the middle of a Michigan Winter, we finally got heat back and a safe water-heater. Then I discovered that somehow I'd made the Art Charts here! That certainly improved my mood tremendously! So, by way of thanks, here's a classic theme for me: an escort ship blasting a missile. Enjoy everyone, and a very big thanks for salvaging my weekend! Production notes: ships modeled and rendered in Bryce. Planet and moon also rendered in Bryce, with my own textures. Ships use a mix of my textures and some presets. Explosions were made in Photoshop by use of photographs of clouds. As always, comments, critiques, etc. are definitely encouraged!

Very cool news that you made it on the Art Charts! Interesting news that preceded it with the water heater and the furnace - glad the issues are resolved in your favor. Congratulations again for making on the art charts Great scene you've created

Very cool pic, but of course, it must have inherited from the Michigan Winter "colness". Glad it's over for you, I got the same, but with only a Paris Winter, so I can imagine what it could be with a few degrees less... I find to your ship a Space'1999 feeling, maybe it's from the "tanks" on either side and the engines, or the textures, I don't know... It's vey different from an Eagle or Hawk, but the feeling remains...

Supplementing your primary heating system with alternative sources such as wood stoves, pellet stoves, or radiant floor heating can provide efficient, localized heat and reduce reliance on conventional fuels. However, ensure these alternative systems are installed and maintained properly to ensure safety and efficiency. Trusted AC Installation Experts
