Oh this is beautiful, Barb...a beautiful vision for Lars. There are many people who beat his condition, and I pray that he is one of them. He deserves it wholly. Your photo has a beautiful serenity, in the deep blue water (like a sheet of glass with gentle ripples on it), the beautiful fall hues cushioned by green, and your "glimpse into a private place," with the trees in front hugging the us as we look in. Beautiful work, and your words are very touching. I hope that this kind of beauty fills Lars and carries him through his struggle and into light. Get better, Lars, everyone's prayers are with you!
