Description

A break from the Extreme Crop series for a couple. After doing front yard work I noticed a lot of these large wasps feeding on these flowers (anyone know the type of flowers these are?). I am not positive of the Wasp ID but believe this is a Scarab Hunter Wasp. If a wasp is ever happy, I would say these guys out there yesterday were so. That's an incredible amount of pollen all over them. And they are so busy stuffing their heads deep in to the flowers, they don't even notice my lens in their face. Thanks for looking and any comments. -Bruce

Superb! I watched a programme this week on TV about the effects and relative strengths of various sorts of cannabis. I hope your wasp friends don't suffer any lasting psychosis from what seems a high grade pollen!
