Description
As I mentioned yesterday, it's been open day for the local media at The Plant. First to arrive was Snotting on the Wold Channel 10, their lead anchor Beverly ' Scoop ' Moistbeaver accompanied by ace cameraman Gerald ' It's all in the hips ' Greasedpole. Actually, Channel 10 were the only ones to show up, Mary Clenchbutt of Channel 6 is still undergoing Psychiatric treatment following her last encounter with Tailspin. The news team were directed to the airfield for our interview, I checked the 'security' cameras to make sure Tailspin was safely in his Psych Evaluation session with Wrongway, and then I went to the hangar to join them. The reason for todays open day was 'public relations', we regularly post notice in the Snotting on the Wold Telegraph, keeping locals up to date on what we're building and what's in the pipeline. Recent output, in particular the large number of bombers, has the locals a bit on edge. Having reassured Ms Moistbeaver that we're not planning on levelling Englandshire, I went on to explain some of the inner workings here at The Plant. I was just explaining how our high output was only possible with a dedicated, friendly workforce, working in harmony, when one of our new B-17's roared overhead on it's test flight ( actually, I'd staged it, it always impresses and distracts the media ). However, not even the low flying 'Fort' could drown out the screams of terror coming from across the airfield.... Wrongway was running hell for leather, closely followed by Tailspin, who appeared single minded in his attempt to introduce Wrongway to the physical attributes of a Hamilton Standard variable pitch propeller. All of this was closely followed by Gerald and his camera, Ms Moistbeaver raised an eyebrow and intoned " Harmony, yer right "! With that they packed away their gear and left me sitting, head in hands wondering.....' what next '???

Well, you certainly left them with an impression though it might not have been the one planned. I think Tailspin is trying to leave an impression on Wrongway's head. At least your life is not boring. Fantastic images and story. I wonder if those two will ever be friends. BTW, I love the names you come up with.

Looks like a pretty exciting day, Neil. I like Wrongway's office decor. Very reassuring.

Glad to see everybody so feisty and full of vigor at the plant. All this running around reminds me, I've got to go watch the San Jose Earthquakes play Dallas for the first soccer game of the season for us Americans (LOL).
