Description

By surprise we saw this Citroën in the middle of the forest. Of course we admired this old 'colossus', as I loved the reflections in the windows. I guess the 2 blue colours are primer, and I hope, dear friends, you like this oldie too. (the car, not me) Love Jacomina ~ Mies :) p.s. I got 'my' e-bots again.

I would say the matte is on purpose and not a primer.

Nice pic and nice find too, Mies. It is obviously a customized car, as most of the chromium plated parts are painted too. Two-tone primer would be rather ridiculous of course and primer absorbs moisture, so it wouldn’ t last long. I had the chance to drive these cars regularly when I was working in a local garage in the early eighties. They were pretty fast and above all they had great roadholding - even compared to some cars of the seventies and eighties ! :) Peter

A rather surrealisr image, the car is an anomaly in the midst of the wood. Makes one think about what is it doing there. Great concept!!!!!

I love this photo of the old Citroën, wonderful reflections in the windows and the outside rearview mirror! Ik houd van deze foto van de oude Citroën, prachtige reflecties in de ramen en de buitenkant achteruitkijkspiegel!
