Description

A small pool on a Columbia River Gorge trail. I decided to play with it a little & thought this version was more interesting than the mostly green color of the original. Maybe a little like an oasis on an alien planet? Please zoom.

From the various hues and tints, it appears that these rugged rocks are composed of different elements, perhaps even some lichen or moss growth. Looks like a small pond has found a home amidst the rocks. Sterling colors, contrast, lighting and textures in this fine foto.
