Description
Greetings Folks
This is for Mike (Maxidyne), in the wild hope that he may help me I.D. it lol
I took it at last years packed Car Show in Stamford, and suspect it to be French? But have no idea what make..
But, I'm more than likely wildly wrong.. It was a first show there..
So mate, over to you or someone else with car knowledge..
Hope you like it anyway.
Rob

Cheers mate, It's a Citroen Traction Avant. On it's manufacture in 1934 it was possible the most advanced car in the world featuring front wheel drive and unitary body frame. Most cars of that time were on a separate chassis and rear wheel drive. These were made from 1934 to 1957 and are very recognisable with the huge grill and double chevron Citroen badge. This is a real favourite of mine so thanks Rob :-)

" Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once....", bugger, Mike beat me too it. Very popular with German officers during the occupation of France.....very popular with the Resistance for ' drive bye ' shooting of German officers during the occupation of France. Really like this car, as Mike says...very advanced for it's time.

Good looking ride. It's the type of car that Maurice Chevalier or Louis Jordan would drive.
