Pheww, shovelling concrete sure takes it out of you, busy building bunkers today, getting some funny looks from the staff too......
As I mentioned yesterday, Abe Abercromby came to see me, there was a knock on my office door and he came in. Not one to beat about the bush he got straight to the point " You can't be serious!, you can't let Tailspin loose with......with.....that!!!" and he gestured out the window. " Send Wrongway, send Abi Kuss from accounts, send Doris from the canteen.....hell, send me!!". I raised my hands to calm Abe down and said " I don't have a choice, I'd do it myself but my Chemopherapy starts Wednesday, as Flight Surgeon Wrongway will be administering it so we're out. I need an experienced pilot and you're afraid of flying, the bombing range is very busy what with Easter coming. If we don't take this slot it could be weeks, I've arranged a special briefing for Tailspin....it should ensure no problems. Now, I think you're working too hard, you've got to trust me on these matters....why don't you take Wednesday off ". I suggested Abe take his wife to Snotting on the Wold for the day. Some shopping, a nice meal, I had two tickets for a new play at Fords Theatre, I handed them to Abe and said " Go and enjoy yourself, everything will be fine ". Abe turned and left my office, I glanced out of the window at the source of Abe's concerns....."everything will be fine " I told myself. I felt a sharp pain in my hands, I cut off the flow of blood to my fingers.....crossing them too tight.......

What could POSSIBLY go wrong? I don't have enough time or strength in my fingers to type that long a list. This is definitely going to be fun. Fabulous job! The Ford Theater? REALLY??

Oh, MY! Rocket guided bombs. Just WHAT could go wrong, besides an inappropriate release into Snotting on the Wold while Abe is there. Guess that would really be a cat-ass-trophy! Hope you have a good lawyer (who cares about the other denizens of Snottville?). And, oh, does Abe have a certain admiration for a Lincoln? That hat, that hat! Looking forward to the next cat-ass... er, posting! :-) And good luck with the chemotherapy! Don't let them test that new cyanide cure on you - it kills more than cancer cells. :-(

I know I've said it before but I do love the little details- such as the artwork on the walls. Fords theatre, h'mm- not in that hat!

I think I might have a little something for you tomorrow for your first trip to chemo (the luck of the Irish). Nice job of story tellin' (LOL).

I agree, this is one of those "What Could Possibly Go Wrong" moments in history. Time for a re-write maybe. I'm all seriousness, best of luck on Wednesdays mate. There will be a lot of people on here thinking of you.
