This looks very happy together, and St Patricksday seems to be a day with much fun. I searched with Google about this day, because in The Netherlands we don't know about it, but as I understood it has to do with sports in Scotland, right?

Not sure what they do for Saint Patrick's in Scotland but the genesis of it is to honor Saint Patrick, the primary patron saint of Ireland, credited with converting the pagan Irish to Christianity - so its a major holiday in Ireland. In America it's mainly just a big celebration of Irish culture; it's widely celebrated, but is not an official holiday as the federal government defines them.
