Ana, this is without a doubt one of the most wonderful illustrations I've ever seen. What a warm and loving birthday present this is for Mark, and one he will surely cherish. This indeed was a great idea and I love the kids as well as the playful nature of this image.

(if you got a bunch of ebots, it's because my server keeps dropping out---sorry!) I agree you are a brilliant and talented lady (Andrea), and that you are a genius (Helle), and that this is such a wonderful illustration (Dave) and that you are so special (Elizabeth) and that this drawing is 'fabulous' and 'outstanding' (Yves). A wonderful drawing of me, you made me look really good for my age! I remember the photo, it's in my bathroom, and I love how you made it into a high rise where people are climbing the walls to greet me. (The lines of the window look like the lines of the original mirror---well done!) Beautiful little people...and I love how the two people on the far right are welcoming the others "in", helping them climb the latter. And everyone's dressed for the cold, even though you made that girl in the pink hat and big bow (with pink striped socks)---an Easter image! With a beautiful yellow flower. And the person on the bottom left is offering me a drink (frangelico?) It's beautiful and playful, and I thank you so much for this, as well as for your beautiful and touching words. You know the feelings are mutual, and I thank you everything you said, Ana. And I also thank you for doing this when I know you've had so much else to do. It's beautiful, a wonderful celebration for my birthday. Thank you so much for all of it. You're a very dear, wonderful soul, Ana.
