.... the News crew have left, oh I know they have a job to do but at times like this they just get in the way. As I mentioned to Beverley, my construction efforts last weekend have actually proved fortuitous. A reconstruction of the Ouistreham Command & Control bunker will make an ideal temporary Admin Block. Five storeys of five foot thick, double reinforced concrete, it may even be Tailspin proof.....or maybe it would have been..... The staff have been busy moving anything salvageable from the old block to it's new home. They weren't too happy lugging my office up to the 5th floor....no elevator, just stairs. I must say a huge thank you, to Franky ' Three Fingers ' Loptoff , one of the buzz-saw jockeys from the carpentry section. He raked through the rubble of my office and found the only, known, surviving copy of "The History Of The Plant and Other Recipes". It's hard to believe there has been a ' Tailspin ' around this place since 1166 when manned flight was invented....and now.....no more... Well, that's the update, I have to go over to the hangar and meet Bern. It seems they've completed the reconstruction and they need my thoughts on....something! All very mysterious, if not a little worrying, well I'll let you know......
