I'm with Rob about this being perfect, though your rose shots have been of such consistently high quality, it's almost impossible to find better superlatives any longer. Another splendid rose capture, this one looking slightly to our left, and opening to the light as if it were coming out of slumber to present itself to the world. Yes, the water dresses the rose beautifully, and the droplets are caught very clearly. The highlights are like icing (or like the ice along the rim of a drink), and the play of light and shadow is beautiful. Plus, the background is filled with green rays shooting out around the rose, with more fine dappling of light and shade. Beautiful, and wholly expected, which is to say that your rose shots achieve this peak so much that the minute we see "My rose for today," we know it's going to be another beauty...
