Other than a song title from the 1980's, this describes the characters of this scene as well. Both the young gentleman and fair young lady who had many long and interesting discussions in the office lunch room, but neither could muster the nerve to ask each other out for so much as a simple cup of coffee. Each would look forward to Monday mornings when they could see the other again. Each seemed to schedule their day so as to take their breaks and lunches together. They each seemed to find a way to manage and meet in the copier room at the same time, go for coffee.... But this lack of courage is slowly coming to an end. Both Trent and Melissa are quietly growing tired of leaving the office and spending their evenings alone, doing the usual household chores and wondering about what the other might be doing. They are each slowly growing more courageous as their desperation to grow closer to the other increases. It will not be much longer before one will have a breakthrough and come forward with a request for the other to accompany them to Saturday Matinee and dinner afterwards. Both will proceed slowly from there, but continue to grow more comfortable and confident in the relations that develops. Thank You much for viewing, and reading my brief story.
