Happy Birthday Barbara and many more to come.
Visited the Wakodahatchee Wetlands this morning and accidently walked right up to this TriColored Heron nest as she was standing up and inspecting her 4 eggs. She was about 26 inches (66 cm) long and with a wingspan of 36 inches (91 cm). The swamp was full of nesting birds so I will get back in there in a few days to see if the checks have hatched. It will zoom!
