Description

Coastal rocks dotted with thousands of tiny organisms. Taken at Port Orford on the Oregon coast. As I originally shot it, there was a thin strip of featureless sky at the top of the frame, but I decided to crop it out... Please zoom.

Good idea to crop out the sky, especially if flat. As it is, you leave us with two strong contrasting elements and a great lead in line by the finely textured dark rock.

Excellent in all facets of coastline photography. What is that stuff on the rocks…moss or buttercups?
