Before Easter Morning - Table a Treat For Easter Bunny To keep his feet from being stolen as each of us knows Hopping hapless Easter Bunny has to stay on his toes The cute long-eared furry fellow doesn't get much respect Some sort of token of gratitude is what one would expect He'd like to be rewarded for the joy he can induce But he never sees a leaf of lettuce or glass of carrot juice He faithfully hides colorful eggs and milk chocolate rabbits But leaving a thank you treat for him is not one of our habits Let's plate lettuce and carrots for him - and maybe cabbage too Perhaps then he'll "Ho-Ho-Ho" for us as Santa is known to do! --------- Thanks for looking & commenting.
