Description
The women arrive at the tomb and are surprised by the angel announcing Jesus' resurrection.
The models are made by a woman in the cathedral congregation.
The facial expressions are interesting. The woman in blue looks very happy. The woman in red looks extremely frightened. And the woman in white looks like "what's going on here?" A closer look and you will find she's wearing glasses! A little joke, or....? I suspect the artist has modeled the figures based on people in the congregation, hence the glasses.
The lighting of this part of the Easter landscape is from the light inside the tomb, some 30 cm./12 inches from the figures. I used no flash. All the light is from hidden spotlights.

Another beautiful reminder of this special day. As for how man acts, that will not change until the end. That's why I keep my faith in God. He never changes. I am sitting here in his beautifully created earth photographing wood ducks. How could I not believe. Thank you Michael.

The faces are actually rather cool, the odd thing about it (if you want be accurate) is in the Middle East there is a serious LACK of green grass! lol Aside from that, well done once again mate and no rant from me! Rob
