Description
In spite of drought conditions, I managed to find a few bluebonnets near the edge of town a couple of days ago.
Thanks very much for your recent views and comments.

Still have those drought conditions there eh? What a lovely show of colour you found and captured Maria. If it were humanly possible, I'd send you some of our weather. It's that big round yellow thing that floats in the sky we don't see a lot of.

I seen Indian Paint Brush flowers yesterday but did not stop as I am nervous about being on the shoulder where the speed limit is 75. very beautiful bluebonnets. the Dallas area has had quite a bit of snow/ice, and rain and the local lakes have been recovering. for about two weeks my yard was like a swamp

They are gorgeous, so vibrant...I just bought two packets of seed for these, I'm going to try and get them to grow in a spot in my back garden. Not much has thrived there except blackberries and holly, so I'm crossing my fingers for these.

Fine capture of the little beauties, Maria. The bluebonnets seem to be doing very well despite the lack of moisture. Is it as bad where you are as it is here in Southern California?

It looks like a whole field of them! A wonderful zoom and lovely colors!
