Description

As the barmaid asked me what I wanted to drink, I could not shake the feeling that I had wandered into a painting by Manet... _______________________ Inspired by, but in no way a copy of, the famous painting by Édouard Manet "A Bar at the Folies-Bergère". I finally got around to loading The Night Lounge by Souless Empathy and setting it up with Carrara/Octane materials and lighting. All of the lighting in this scene is from the ceiling light models being defined with high power glow channels, and rendered using the PMC kernel in Octane, as this cleared up faster than the Path Tracing kernel. Thanks for looking, I hope you like it. Phil

Forgive me if I didn't pay much attention to her but mostly to the bottles! The glass is rendered beautifully! Mmmmh, I feel like I want to open a bottle of Brouilly and have a good cigar along with it!

Man, that's a lot of room-temperature Heineken! Love the counter-tops and her expression is excellent. Great highlights on the bottles, too.
