Description
Travel five miles south from Page along Highway 89 and walk one mile west and you will come to the Colorado River and a place known as Horse Shoe Bend. Here the river winds 280 degrees around a massive rock formation. There is no safety railing and it is a thousand foot drop to the river below. You can see small patches of color at the bottom of this image. These are part of a Bureau of Land Management encampment.

I've never been to this exact spot, but have seen photos of it before. But that doesn't lessen the impact - this is a spectacular landscape & you've done an outstanding job of capturing it...
