It has a strange urban attraction, but I don't do cold (or, indeed, hot). I would make the perfect Methodist, moderation in all things, except chocolate, perfume, plants, art materials, pullovers, fabrics.........................

Very beautiful shot!!!

This capture has a very rich feeling to it, with the dark sapphire blues and shadows contrasted against the branches and white snow. There is a peaceful quality, as if time is standing very still. I always love it when there is no wind and the snow lays on the branches, delicate and unmoving. Really enjoy all the seasonal moods you are sharing of the street where you live that always seems to put on a grand show.

Marvelous capture and fantastic view!!! Outstanding image my friend !!!

Fantastic capture, great colors and shadows! Looks like someone actually keeps the sidewalk cleared around there - best to walk in the street around here, otherwise you have to wade through knee high snow the whole way.

A superabundance of high contrast, shadow and right-down-the-middle perspective in this deep depth image, Mark, masterfully postworked in your own patented way. Although taken right out of your own front yard, this scene is so alien to my eyes that it could be on another planet.

Wow! Reduced to shadows and light, colours and not, the raw shapes of winter as the sun lands on them, incredibly lovely! You did a perfect abstraction, and I really, really, REALLY love this!

I can feel the weight of the snow in this image - it feels very heavy & thick & slushy. Aside from the fact that it actually does look like it's piled up really thick, I think the effect is amplified by the darkness & saturation of the other colors & the inky blackness of the shadows. A very rich image that makes me miss the snow - we didn't have any this winter...

WOW look at all that snow!

Beautiful photo, with an appropriate use of a filter that made a dramatic sky cobalt blue!!!!!!!

Mark, let me first of all say that this wonderful presentation is truly awe inspiring. Not only do the lighting and shadows stand out here, but I love the way the image is framed by the surrounding structures.this image truly does illustrate why winter is such a wonderful time a year despite some of the hindrances it can bring upon us.

This is amazingly beautiful. A digital painting with details and yet not. Warm winter light. It could almost melt the snow. Mark, I love the deep contrast and the rich saturation. Love how you have simplified it by softening up the smallest details. You have a special way with your postwork, which is deeply fascinating to me. :-)

Very good POV with those colors

Mark, it's awesomely contrastive and full of great late winter or early spring mood. Long curly shadows are special. Another great work for sure!
